Movement Climbing, Yoga, and Fitness, the nation’s largest community of indoor rock climbing gyms, in partnership with The North Face, is inviting everyone to experience indoor climbing and classes at no cost during a nationwide Free Climbing Day on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at all Movement Gyms.

For one day only, all Movement locations across the U.S. will offer complimentary access to climbing, yoga and fitness, free gear rentals, and introductory classes — giving new and curious visitors a barrier-free way to try something for the first time. It’s part of Movement and The North Face’s partnership to create new ways for people everywhere to connect with climbing, yoga and fitness.

“Access to movement and community is at the heart of what we do”, said Anne-Worley Moelter, CEO of Movement Climbing, Yoga and Fitness. “We’re incredibly excited to partner with The North Face in a way that welcomes and encourages new people to join in our spaces, by opening our doors with complimentary access to everyone! Whether you’re curious about climbing, want to try yoga, or are interested in our fitness classes, Feb. 28 is the perfect chance to see what Movement is all about.”

Movement’s Free Climbing Day powered by The North Face includes:

  • Complimentary access to climbing, yoga and fitness facilities at all Movement gyms nationwide.
  • Free climbing & instruction: introductory classes for bouldering and roped climbing.
  • Free gear rentals: shoes and harnesses provided at no cost while supplies last.
  • Free yoga & fitness classes: sample Movement’s yoga and fitness program offerings.
  • Membership concierge: learn about membership options, class schedules, and youth programming from on-site staff. Meet The North Face retail associates at select Movement locations to learn more about their XPLR Pass Loyalty Program and more.

“Making exploration accessible to everyone is core to The North Face’s mission,” said Todd Dalhausser, GM The North Face Americas. “We’re excited to partner with Movement on Free Climbing Day to break down barriers and help more people discover the confidence that comes from exploration—whether indoors or out.”

Important details: Class schedules, capacity limits and exact start times vary by gym; visitors are encouraged to check their local Movement location’s event page for class listings and RSVP information. Free rentals are offered while supplies last. Movement recommends arriving early for popular class slots.
