SouthernMED Pediatrics Brings Full-Day Pediatric Care to North Augusta with Integration of NiteOwl

Expansion introduces full-day primary pediatric care in addition to existing evening and weekend hours

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC, December 03, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SouthernMED Pediatrics, one of South Carolina's leading pediatric healthcare providers, proudly announces the addition of NiteOwl Pediatric Urgent Care, effective November 17, 2025. Located at 616 Edgefield Road, Suite 180, North Augusta, the practice will become SouthernMED Pediatrics + NiteOwl Extended Hours and will continue to serve families through the end of the year with its existing services and operating hours, providing trusted after-hours pediatric care to the growing North Augusta community.

Beginning January 2026, the practice will expand its scope of services and operating hours, transitioning to offer primary pediatric care and additional daytime business hours, along with the extended evening and weekend availability. This enhancement allows both established and new patient families to access comprehensive, full-day pediatric services in one convenient location.

Under the continued leadership of Carlee Leopard, SouthernMED Pediatrics + NiteOwl Extended Hours will shift its hours in early January to Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM; and Sunday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

This marks SouthernMED's entry into North Augusta, one of South Carolina's fastest-growing regions, and makes it one of only two dedicated pediatric practices in the city. The North Augusta location will strengthen SouthernMED's statewide network of pediatric and adolescent medicine services, offering telemedicine, behavioral health integration, online appointment scheduling, and coordinated family communication tools to support patients across every stage of childhood.
